Teaching Your Kids About Money

So, what do your children know about money in the real world?  Help them learn with the role-playing below. Have your kids fill-in the blanks in the "Estimate" column.

2.   When they are finished, sit down with them and, category by category, fill-in the actual amount.  Discuss what it takes to pay for monthly expenses.  This will help your kids realize that money is not to be spent like water and they need to do their part to be economical and save for the future.

I have followed these top 10 as a father with my 4 children (2boys & 2girls). Things worked out just fine, they now have blessed me with 5 grandchildren. Today I'm repeating the 10 with a grandson who lives with me. His single parent mother and I try to follow all the rules without father he so needs to learn from! We take him to yearly All Pro Dad events and just love the whole day together!!!
