Jeremy Lin Makes the Most of an Opportunity

Well, like most NBA fans I’ve been taken in by the Jeremy Lin phenomenon and just watching what he’s done in the last couple weeks has been awesome. It reminds me of Victor Cruz and Tim Tebow in the NFL.  All three young men faced long odds and people weren’t expecting a lot out of them. But when Lin got the opportunity, he made the most of it and thats what life is all about. I love his Christian testimony as well. Again, he’s making the most of an opportunity he’s getting, and I’ll be looking forward to watching him the rest of the season.

    agreed. opportunity does not always knock at our door as frequently as we want to be. so better get the most out of it when it finally knocks at our door!

    Tony, I have never forgotten an interview that Tom Brady gave to “60 Minutes” in 2007. The reporter pointed out that Tom had “everything a man could want” – amazing career success, money, etc. – and asked if there was more to life than that.  Brady said something like, “There is  something more – I just don’t know what it is…”  I wanted to shout at the TV, “I know!”  Anyway, ever since then I have wondered if you could talk to Tom about Christ.
