I just wanted you to know that I finished “Quiet Strength” this morning. It has brought a lot of light into my life. My wife and I bth struggle with depression, mainly due to our inability to conceive a child. we are working with an adoption agency here in Kentucky and are willing to accept an infant of any race, but so far no luck. I just ask that you, and anyone who reads this comment, pray for us to get through our struggles and find strength in ourslef and in God.

James,
Please know that you will be in my prayers. God is working this out for you. Jeremiah was prophet who also sufffered greatly from depression and God said to him “For I know the plans I have for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jerimiah 29:11 NLT May you find comfort in these words.

I remember it well. That was a great win. I call it the Miracle On Ice, and I call that great comback by the Colts in Tampa Bay the Midnight Miracle, but I think we use the term Miracle too loosley.

James,
I stand with you and your wife in prayer.
Coach,
Thank you for this post. While struggling with my own depression I crushed my son’s self confidence. Now I need to help him regain and this post comes at a perfect timing. I thank God for the work he has you doing.

This is to respond to what James Halcomb. My wife and I were in the same situation 8years ago. The doctor told us that my wife would not be able to have children. Problems with her uterus. We are born again christians, and we put our trust in God and his ability to work miracles, and he did. We tried for four years and all the things that the doctors recommended and nothing worked. I believe a miracle is when man has done all he can do and still nothing happens or change, then God steps in and do what man was trying to do. We have two wonderful children today, God is not partial just put your faith in him and he can do for you what he did for us. I will help you pray that your request for a child be granted. hope this was helpful.

James, don’t give up. My wife and I went through similar circumstances and feelings. It took some time, but God gave us a child through adoption, too. You are in my prayers.
