Dungy's Diary

Summer Plans for the Dungys

It’s the time of year where school is winding down and I know in the Dungy household we begin to think about summer plans.  Our kids are excited as they have a couple sleep away camps that they will go to.  Our family has made it a tradition the last couple years to go out to Oregon to spend some time in the cool weather and explore the Northwest. We’ll get in an RV and go up and down the coast from California up through Washington and our kids love that.  I’m also looking forward to spending some time with our son Eric and getting ready for the Ducks football season.

Those are the summer plans for the Dungy family.  I hope you all have a fantastic summer and remember to make it a family time!

I saw Eric help his team win this year’s intrasquad scrimmage. He looked sharp.

    Go Ducks!

Thank you for your books, your ministry, and your leadership.

That sounds like a wonderful way to spend the summer. What better way to learn about our United States, go and see it first hand with your own eyes. Traveling you get to see some of the things the children learn about in social studies and history. I loved going to Washington DC one year for spring break and that was 5 years ago and our children still talk about that trip all the things we saw there!! Can I be a stow-a-way in someones luggage I would love to see the other coast??? HA!
Mr. & Mrs. Dungy have such a love for all of their children. My son has admired Mr Dungy for many years now and from time to time we would see you on Tuesday nights up at IBC Rec field during baseball and my son would say “mom Mr. Dungy must have super powers with working everywhere, and he still makes it to baseball practice and games here at church” I told my son, parents will do anything for their children just like super heros. So now he thinks parents have super powers!! Thank you for being who you are and for being that person our children can look up to. Any new childrens books coming out soon?? We love all of your books but really LOVED the childrens book!! God Bless

What fun…Road Trips are the best for the summer.  Start at Point A hit every little town enroute to Point B.  You find the most unique things and your kids can actually say I been there before. Take pictures to save the memories.  We still take about our road trip.
