Teaching Our Kids Character

The most important thing about teaching our kids character, could be simply not missing opportunities to do so. What do you think?

I agree with Coach Dungy! I work for a youth development and mentoring organization, On Point. We see this every day in the teens we mentor. The teens in our program are in looking for (in many cases, desperately seeking) those role models and those examples of character. We are always amazed at how much teens share with us. They are hungry to be heard and hungry to learn from positive adults. My son is only 6, but working at On Point and Coach Dungy have helped me tune in to those teachable moments with my son. My son is really honest now, so I am trying to engage him in conversations that will teach him something but will also help him to know that I am someone he can come to even if he has made a mistake. Thank you Coach Dungy!
