Early in his career, when Jeff was coaching at Northwestern University, a friend introduced him to a communications sales representative named Jennifer. As they began dating over the next year, Jeff believed she was "the one" and after praying for wisdom, he asked Jennifer to marry him. Today, Jeff and Jennifer are the proud parents of their daughter Hailey and son Aidan. Being at his children's birth, Jeff realized he had a huge responsibility as a father. He focuses on being a godly role model for them by teaching them to treat others the way they want to be treated. He also adds, "I love Joe Ehrmann's book Season of Life. We are applying the principles of the book to make sure our son understands the meaning of true masculinity and our daughter is secure with who she is."Being an NFL Strength & Conditioning Coach, it comes as no surprise that Jeff loves to spend time with his kids participating in outdoor activities. They especially love jumping on the trampoline and hiking. He also makes a point to read a values-based book to his children at bedtime - usually Berenstain Bears or something similar. Jeff also makes sure he spends quiet time with Jennifer - either on date night or after the kids go to bed. As the strength coach for the Ravens, Jeff pushes players to perform at their highest level for the good of the team. And as a spokesman for All Pro Dad, Jeff pushes us fathers to make the right and tough decisions for the good of our families.
