This is proof that when we act like Jesus the hope and joy we can bring to everyone no matter how bad off they can be is unmeasurable. THIS IS STILL THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD BECAUSE WE CAN WORSHIP JESUS

To give back hope is the greatest gift anyone can give to another. Hope is light, without it, it is pitch black in the middle of a July day. Give hope whenever you can.

We need more people like Coach Hogan and Faith Christian School students and parents. What you did for those Gainesville boys will have a life long effect on them. You did good!

When one looses hope it leads to despair. Out of despair comes very poor choices. Let us all do what we can to keep hope alive. On Saturday an organization I started six years ago will sponsor a mentor/mentee fishing contest for 20 felons just released from prison. This video encourages us all to stay positive about everyone of God's children. There are no throw aways.

Wow! Thank you, Coach Chris Hogan, for reminding of us of the power of love. This makes me re-think my own coaching strategy somewhat, and makes me think about what I can do to maybe spread the good word. Thanks so much.

I was at that football game and decided I wanted to do something. I signed up with a program through Big Brothers, Big Sisters and mentor a boy in that State "School". Its easy to be critical of them, but when you hear some of their stories and what some of them have grown up with it breaks your heart. I don't think I'd do very well either if I grew up in some of their situation. Does the time I spend with him help? Time will tell. Some kids never have a single visitor the whole time they are locked up.

Everyone won that night! As a high school football coach with two young sons, Coach Hogan is the kind of person I want my boys to be around to learn not only FB lessons but life lessons.

This is very touching and didn't believe it at first,I mean a coach letting his fans and cheerleaders cheer for the other team? But I am glad that this happened. God bless this video.

This is a very inspirational story. We all need to step back and think about life and what God would have us to do. It was an amazing that these young gentleman were given some love and motivation instead of grief and judgement. The support that this coach, his players, fans and the community gave to those young men will be with them the rest of their lives.

What an incredible and simple gesture of love from everyone. It is great to see that no one judged these kids and openly showed encouragement for them. It's amazing what this will do for their self esteem. Thank you for posting this.

The message is so clear. Everyone has a past and everyone makes mistakes, it's what you take away from it that matters. I wonder where these kids are now and I wonder how many of them hold onto this story and changed because of it or viewed life different because of it. For some, it might have been the only show of affection they'd ever seen, the only love and selfless acts they've ever witnessed. They were able to be kids!!! Coach Hogan and the Faith Lions family made a positive and lasting memory :)

The entire video was breathtaking. My very quote from the video was when the Tornadoes football coach said, "Our kids were their kids and their kids were our kids, and all kids were the same." That is how God wanted it! Thanks for sharing!

I visit a correctional facility one day a week, for one hour, and just sit and speak with a group of men there. It takes two hour total of my time per week. I don't do anything other than show up listen and occasionally share. I treat them like men, without judgment. It seems to make a big difference to them. I pray that this simple and very easy act of showing care and concern for them will make some difference in their lives. For sure, the best way to give thanks to God for our blessings is to give our time, talents, and treasuries to others. I know that, but for the grace of God, I could just as easily be sitting in their place. I pray that God will show each of you one simple way in which you can give of your time at least one day per week (or even per month) to help others who are less fortunate. And remember - it doesn't count if anyone catches you doing it . . .

It hit me while watching this...these boys from the corrections facility probably never had this kind of love or support shown to them before...most likely, they never got it at home. It shows just how important this is...and it shows that when we support and love someone who has made bad choices before, it can make a world of difference in their lives....so much so that they'll WANT to make right choices. Thanks for showing this. POWERFUL!

The young man at the end of the video made a comment that "I see the world in a whole new way now." He is no longer the victim coming from a broken home and that there is hope for him now and all this because someone showed him just a little bit of love. Love truly is the greatest of all the virtues not only can it change lives it can change the world.
