What's the world's biggest problem?

In the 1930's, when The Times of London asked Britain's leading intellectuals what they thought was the biggest problem in the world, author G.K. Chesterton sent back a quick postcard response saying, "I am."  He was on to something.

Too often we don't take personal responsibility to say that we are the biggest problems in our marriage, with the way our kids behave, and with how poorly our job is going.  Instead, we look to point fingers. But real men take responsibility for their actions and, when things aren't going well, look in the mirror first. That kind of humility is what saves marriages, bonds kids to their fathers, and promotes career advancement.

If you are your own biggest problem, you can work to make the right kinds of change.

Ever wonder what your kids think of your parenting skills? Find out by asking them to take this quiz.

Huddle up and ask your kids tonight: Would you do me a favor and take this quiz?

God refered to himself as "I AM" to Moses. If we all would model ourselves after the one true "I AM" we would rarely have to answer the question of failure of responsibilty with "I am".

Great point! Too much transference in the world today. No personal responsibility. As a Juvenile Officer, I see it everyday in our youth. Sometimes they feel their only mistake was getting caught. When you speak to their parents, (or parent) about the incident, they either tell you to deal with them, that they're tired of raising them, or the old, "not my kid" lingo. No wonder many of our youth are so troubled today.
