Bert Emanuel credits his passion for family values to marrying his wife Teri and becoming a father. Bert and Teri met on a blind date in high school, dated for six years throughout college, were married and gave birth to four children: daughters Sydni, Cortni, Brittni, Whitni, and son, Bert, Jr. Bert does not take his responsibility of leader of his household lightly: “Being a father has changed my life by opening my eyes to unconditional love and the realization that I am held accountable by God to raise kids of integrity and honor.” Although Bert did not grow up with a close relationship to his biological father, he was able to learn from his dad’s mistakes. He says: “I don’t want my children to ever experience what I went through. That’s why being a father to me is the most important thing, besides living for God. God, wife and kids- everything else becomes secondary.” Bert sums up: “Family comes first and you can see it every day in our household. It shows in the activities we choose to do and in every household decision made. Family is very important to us and encompasses every moment in our lives.”
