As parents, Chris Kelsay and his wife Natalie focus on making sure their home is filled with love by attending church, praying with and over the family, encouraging their two daughters Harper and Avery to know Christ, and making sure not to live a hypocritical life. Being a father to daughters, Chris is willing to set aside the macho image of an NFL lineman and play house with his daughters: “Whatever my daughters enjoy, I need to enter their world, and be available for them.” Chris and Natalie do their best to stick to their date nights, enjoying conversation over dinner or watching a movie. In describing his commitment to his family, Chris acknowledges the impact witnessing his daughters’ births had on his perspective as a father. He described their births as “amazing” adding, “If you have ever doubted that there is a God, you need to experience a child’s birth.”
