Steve Largent

Steve Largent

Steve Largent always had a vision for his family. Even before he met his wife Terry during their sophomore year of high school, Steve vowed that his home would be very different from the one in which he grew up. Steve was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1954. His mother was his rock, especially after his father deserted the family when he was a boy. She tried to do what was best for her family, but married a man who turned out to be an alcoholic. With the support and encouragement of those around him Steve did escape the shadows of his life. He went on to play professional football for the Seattle Seahawks and was later inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Steve is a former U.S. Congressman, but he values his job as a family man the most. His children Casie, Kyle, Kelly and Kramer mean the world to him, and he tries daily to fulfill his vow to make his home a place of love and peace for his own family.
