A police officer’s perspective
Chris, a Play of the Day subscriber, writes, “Being a police officer, I see fatherless boys every day. I work in the juvenile section of my police department and I know that it is vital to have a father present and involved in a young boy's life. I can immediately detect the ones who don't have a father around.
When you see life from that perspective, it forces you to take a hard look at yourself as a father. I encourage all of you to get involved in your son's life. No matter what their interest is, just having you be there to support them speaks volumes about your love.”
Take a look at these eye-popping statistics on the importance of fathers,
