Just because summer is over doesn’t mean the outdoor fun has to end too. Fall is a great time of year filled with colors and unique outdoor activities for you to enjoy with your kids. Actually, I always love being outside this time of year. There is nothing like being outside for hours in the crisp air as the sun goes down early. Being engaged in fall activities in the cool air and then heading into a cozy house with your kids as the sky turns amber is something you all will always remember.

1. Hiking

Find a nearby state park and enjoy a brisk walk or hike.

2. Enjoy s’mores around the fire

Create, or purchase, a fire pit. Make and eat some yummy s’mores!

Combine your hiking with a camping trip, or just camp out in the backyard.

4. High school football games

Friday night lights! Root for your high school team each Friday.

Teaching your kids to serve is very important, but it can also be fun and very rewarding especially when doing it as a family.
