Dave Canales became an NFL head coach for the Carolina Panthers in 2024. He spent his first 12 years in the league as an assistant coach for the Seattle Seahawks before going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He met his wife, Lizzy, while playing football at Azusa Pacific University. Lizzy is a writer and co-wrote a book with Dave called The Marriage? The Question That Changed Everything. The Canaleses have four children.
