Donovin Darius discovered his God-given strength and determination when it came time for him to try to make it out of one of the most violent neighborhoods in America. His drive for success led him to attend Syracuse University on a football scholarship. He transferred this same determination into his role as a husband and father. When Donovin met his wife Alemnesh, he was still playing for Syracuse and she was a single mother, but Donovin knew that they would one day marry. The pair now have four children: Zakee, Symone, Rachel and Dominique. They believe that embracing their children, affirming their love for them and spending time with them are vital to raising successful children. Donovin also enjoys going through books with his kids and praying with them. He is in constant awe that God has blessed him with wonderful children and is looking forward to what they will become.
