There are many, many ways I enjoy spending time with my kids. Here’s one of my favorites…
What do you do for fun as a family?

Shameful Mr. Dungy…how can you support a dog killer felon, befriend still a man who charges for his own party, breaks the law by talking to another felon, and lo and behold….lie about when he left the party and the direction he was heading (same as the bullet). It breaks my heart to see an intelligent man act like a fool…..Vick has no business being out of jail, has no right to be playing ball and I pray to God…this time, he sets Vick straight and sends him to hell.
The main thing I bring to my two girls’ lives as far as enjoyable things is being outdoors and active. At 5 and 3 years old, they love having their senses stimulated by being outdoors and talking about all the things they see. Yesterday we went to a park to fly a kite and have a picnic. Today we played in the pool for two hours, then walked somewhere for lunch.
We also have fun playing games like Candy Land, Chutes And Ladders, and Tumblin’ Monkeys, or Wii video games. Sometimes it can be hard on kids to lose games they play. Whether we are racing toward a floaty toy in the pool or playing MouseTrap, I always stress that it’s only a game, and the important thing is that we are all playing together. It’s better to play together than with no one at all.
I am not sure how common it is, but it does happen. Even adults are able to completely block traumatic events. In many cases, until that child or adult is put into a similar circumstance, they will never remember. Repressed memories are also able to surface with hypnosis, although there is some argument that the memories are created or placed with an untrained hypnotist.
