Tony's 10 Ways to enjoy the Big Game with your Family

Who’s hungry? Make sure you load up before the big game with all the food you’re not supposed to eat and enjoy it for just one night. Pizza, chips, dip, greasy burgers, cookies, you name it.

Speaking of pizza, test your pizza IQ with some fun facts (answers below): a. What is the most popular pizza topping? b. What is the least favorite? c. What is the most popular topping in Japan? d. What is the biggest day for pizza orders? e. What is the 2nd biggest day?

Pick a player beforehand on each team with strong character, do a little research on them, and make your children fans of him. Follow how that player does during the game.

Before the game starts... parents, share who your favorite NFL player was when you were growing up, and your favorite memory of that player. And then... have the kids share their favorite player and memory of that player.

During halftime, have a “Best Touchdown Dance Contest” - and Dad MUST participate.

Have some fun with trivia (answers below): a. Which team has won the most Super Bowls? b. Which team has lost the most Super Bowls? c. How many teams can you name that have never won a Super Bowl? d. Of the teams that have never won a Super Bowl, what teams have never made an appearance? e. Who has won a Super Bowl both as a player and a head coach? Keep score and the winner gets a special prize.

During the game, use a soft football and reenact your favorite plays. For more fun, have everyone play on their knees.

Let each of your kids invite a friend over to watch the Super Bowl and “tailgate” with you.

Invite your parents over to enjoy the game with your family.

Have everyone write down their guesses of the score at the end of each quarter. The winner of each quarter wins a special prize.
