Our trip to the Olympics was fantastic. London did a great job hosting the Games. All the volunteers were cheerful and polite, the traffic went smoothly, and the venues were exceptional. Great hospitality!
The U.S athletes were outstanding as well. Everyone has talked about the women and what a performance it was from them, but there were some awesome men’s performances as well. We got to see world records in track and field as well as gold medals in basketball and women’s beach volleyball. It was a great trip for us.
Next up is to get back home and get caught up with Eric and the Oregon Ducks football program. On that note, our plane has a mechanical problem and we have a five hour delay leaving London. However, that’s the first thing that has gone wrong all week so we have a lot to be grateful for.
