Toledo Central Catholic

Today I visited Toledo Central Catholic High School. They had a reading project where all the students read Uncommon, did projects detailing their impressions, and then have the author come in and speak. It was a great experience for me. The student body was tremendous. I got to visit with a couple of the English classes, the book club, the football team and a group of their “uncommon” students. After that, I spoke at an assembly for the student body and answered questions. The students presented me with a check for $5,000 that they had raised to donate to the Dungy Family Foundation. I came away from the day being very impressed with these young people and the staff at Central Catholic. It looks like a great environment in which to learn and grow!
