Today is Valentine’s Day and we hope there is much more romance than stress for you and your wife. Joel, a Play of the Day subscriber, has great advice for the other 364 days to keep stress at bay:
“Take a moment to clean up so your wife doesn’t have to. I was running late this morning to get out of the house and noticed several articles of (my) clothing lying on the floor. I had a choice. It was either me or her. I decided to time myself and see how long it would take to tidy up so she wouldn’t have to do it. It took about 4 minutes to pick up the dirty clothes, sort out the clean ones and make the room look presentable.”
Four minutes to help make your wife’s day. A little goes a long way towards less marital stress. Great advice Joel. Let’s clean up after our nasty selves.
